In June, 2010, the Maryland State Board of Education adopted the Maryland College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics. Since that time, educators from around the state have met to determine the best way for Maryland teachers to transition from the existing State Curriculum to the Maryland College and Career Ready Standards. The units of study and draft frameworks that follow are the result of this work.
It is important to view these frameworks in color. The Common Core State Standards appear in black and the Essential Skills and Knowledge added by Maryland educators appear in red.
